Joining H&R Block as a seasonal Experienced Tax Professional means you’ll serve clients with diverse tax needs and receive advanced tax training necessary for success. Responsibilities
Conduct tax interviews with clients face‑to‑face and via virtual tools (video, phone, chat, email). Prepare complete and accurate tax returns. Generate business growth, increase client retention, and offer additional products and services. Provide clients with IRS support. Mentor and support teammates. Assist with tax planning, audit support, and audit representation where applicable. Participate in the H&R Block Tax Knowledge Assessment (as required). Meet IRS and applicable state requirements. Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in accounting or a related field. CPA or Enrolled Agent certification (preferable). 5+ years of experience in accounting, finance, bookkeeping, or tax. Experience completing complex returns (individual, trust, partnership). Experience conducting virtual tax interviews. Experience with tax planning and audit support. Sales and/or marketing experience (beneficial). Comfort working with virtual tools—video, phone, chat. Strong written and verbal communication skills. High school diploma or equivalent (minimum). Must meet IRS and applicable state requirements. Benefits

Pay rate: $11.00 – $80.00 per hour. Local minimum wage laws apply. Pay decisions depend on experience, education, performance, and location of work. Eligible associates may participate in incentive plans and additional benefits as described. Position Details
