Project Manager - Construction Services Shrewsberry & Associates seeks a Project Manager to oversee construction projects from initiation through close‑out, ensuring quality, safety, and cost control. The role requires residence near Lafayette, Indiana.

Responsibilities

Create estimates, value engineering, and develop comprehensive project budgets.

Develop a comprehensive project schedule.

Manage designer, contractor, and vendor procurement strategy, adherence, and relationships.

Coordinate projects including designer, contractor, and vendor, resolve conflicts, and maintain documentation.

Monitor project costs through ongoing resource, material, and equipment evaluation; forecast and analyze costs, exposures, and profits through completion.

Report monthly progress to leadership.

Ensure substantial completion as defined in specifications and coordinate Conditions of Satisfaction at major milestones.

Validate submission of record drawings, maintenance manuals, and warranties for a smooth closeout.

Act as liaison between sponsor, project, and government officials, coordinating all company departments to resolve issues.

Provide project support to the management team (director, project manager, project engineer, coordinator, sponsor).

Communicate confidentiality with team members (client, architect, engineer, general contractor, subcontractors, field personnel) regarding needs and requirements.

Reprioritize workload when projects shift, ensuring schedules and assignments are clearly communicated.

Manage multiple requests promptly and reprioritize to meet shifting deadlines.

Assist with training and development coordination and support.

Back up other coordinators during absences and peak workload.

Drive adherence to the project Health Safety Program.

Requirements

Bachelor’s degree in engineering, construction management, architecture, or a related field.

5–7 years of relevant experience.

Knowledge of business, management, finance, and project cost control techniques.

Familiarity with applicable regulations (NFPA Life Safety Code, ISDH Regulations, AIA Guidelines, International Building Code, ADA).

Proficiency with eBuilder, Oracle, Power BI, Smartsheet, Microsoft Office, and related software.

Leadership skills, relationship building, clear direction, and cooperative teamwork.

Effective written and verbal communication.

Strong organizational, time‑management, and interpersonal skills.

Comfortable communicating at all leadership levels.

Proactive problem‑solving abilities.
