The
Senior Estimator
will play a key role in the
preconstruction and estimating process —leading bid preparation, cost analysis, and project budgeting for a variety of
commercial projects . The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, collaborative, and experienced in developing accurate and competitive estimates while maintaining strong relationships with clients, subcontractors, and internal teams.
Key Responsibilities
Prepare detailed cost estimates for new construction and renovation projects
Review project plans, specifications, and documents to determine scope and requirements
Solicit and evaluate subcontractor and supplier bids
Collaborate with project managers, architects, and engineers during preconstruction
Analyze historical data and market trends to maintain accurate cost databases
Participate in design-build and value engineering efforts
Support junior estimators and contribute to team development
Qualifications
7+ years of experience in estimating within the general contracting or construction management industry
Proven experience with commercial, institutional, or industrial construction projects
Strong understanding of construction means, methods, and cost structures
Proficiency in estimating software and Microsoft Office Suite
Excellent communication, analytical, and organizational skills
