Security Officer - Utilities Patrol Driver

You will help deter security‑related incidents by conducting routine patrols, remaining highly visible, responding promptly to situations, and providing outstanding customer service. Use our proprietary scheduling platform to claim open shifts at client sites Support operations across a range of environments including commercial real estate, healthcare, and education Receive site‑specific training and guidance from experienced teams Deliver consistent, professional security presence and customer service Be ready to fill in at short notice when urgent needs arise Responsibilities
Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security‑related procedures, site‑specific policies and, as needed, emergency response activities Respond to incidents and critical situations calmly and with problem‑solving skills Conduct regular and random patrols around the location and perimeter to observe potential risks and deter unauthorized activity Monitor and report any irregularities, including the presence of unauthorized persons or property issues Communicate clearly and professionally with clients, visitors and team members while on duty Follow post orders and instructions from Allied Universal management and client representatives Complete required reports and logs accurately and promptly What We’re Looking For
Availability across various days and shifts Reliability and ability to adapt to different post assignments A desire to gain broad experience and grow within the company Interest in transitioning into full‑time roles when available Minimum Requirements
A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles Possess a high school diploma or equivalent Applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws Applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only Why Join Us
