Our client is seeking a Senior Talent Acquisition Partner to establish and lead a newly created recruiting function. This strategic role is ideal for a professional with 5+ years of hands‑on recruiting and talent acquisition experience, preferably within waste management, environmental services, or related industries.
Key Responsibilities
Recruitment Strategy & Leadership
Design and build the recruitment department from the ground up
Develop scalable processes and strategies
Oversee the full recruitment lifecycle
Ensure a seamless and engaging candidate experience
Lay the foundation for a high-performing talent acquisition team
Full‑Cycle Recruitment
Manage recruitment from job requisition to offer acceptance
Support hiring across frontline to senior‑level roles
Strategic Talent Partnering
Act as a trusted advisor to senior leaders and hiring managers
Provide market insights and strategic hiring recommendations
Industry‑Specific Recruiting
Leverage expertise in waste management and environmental services
Attract top talent including drivers, technicians, and field operations staff
Talent Sourcing & Networking
Build candidate pipelines via job boards, social media, referrals, and industry networks
Focus on hard‑to‑fill roles
Employer Branding & Events
Represent our client at career fairs, campus events, and industry initiatives
Enhance employer brand visibility
Recruitment Operations
Manage offer letters, interview scheduling, onboarding logistics, and candidate communications
Metrics & Reporting
Track KPIs such as time‑to‑fill, pipeline health, and quality of hire
Recommend process improvements
Coaching & Development
Coach junior recruiters or coordinators
Promote best practices and sourcing strategies
Process Improvement & Special Projects
Identify and implement recruitment enhancements
Lead or support HR‑related projects
Stay informed on labor market trends, competitor strategies, and industry insights
Candidate Experience
Ensure a professional and engaging experience for all candidates
Provide feedback and onboarding support
Other Duties
Perform additional tasks as assigned
Minimum Qualifications
5+ years of recruiting/talent acquisition experience in a fast‑paced, multi‑location environment
Experience with ADP Workforce Now (heavily preferred), and Applicant Tracking Systems (ATS)
Proven expertise in full recruitment lifecycle management
Strong stakeholder management and advisory skills
Industry experience in waste management or environmental services is a major plus
Deep understanding of business objectives, talent markets, and recruitment strategy
Skilled in sourcing, networking, and candidate engagement across multiple channels
Excellent organizational, prioritization, and project management skills
Exceptional communication and relationship‑building abilities
Ability to work independently and cross‑functionally
Experience mentoring junior recruiters preferred
Bilingual (English/Spanish) is a plus
