About the Role
We are seeking a talented and detail-oriented Interior Designer with proven experience in healthcare design to join our collaborative architecture and interiors team. This role involves working on a range of healthcare projects — from clinics and ambulatory care centers to large hospital campuses — with a focus on creating environments that promote wellness, functionality, and aesthetic excellence.
The ideal candidate combines strong design sensibility, technical proficiency, and a deep understanding of the unique requirements of healthcare environments, including regulatory compliance, material performance, and evidence-based design principles.
Key Responsibilities
Lead and support the interior design process for healthcare projects from concept through construction.
Develop space plans, finish palettes, and interior design concepts aligned with client goals and healthcare standards.
Prepare and coordinate FF&E packages, finish schedules, and presentation materials.
Collaborate closely with architects, consultants, and clients to ensure cohesive design integration.
Produce detailed interior drawings and documentation (plans, elevations, millwork details, material specs).
Maintain up-to-date knowledge of healthcare design trends, code requirements, and infection control standards.
Participate in client meetings, design charrettes, and construction administration as needed.
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Interior Design or Architecture (CIDQ certification preferred).
5–10 years of professional experience, with at least 3+ years focused on healthcare interiors.
Proficiency in Revit, AutoCAD, Enscape, and Adobe Creative Suite.
Strong understanding of healthcare design guidelines (FGI, ADA, LEED, and sustainable design principles).
Excellent communication, coordination, and presentation skills.
Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
