Job Description EBAD is seeking a highly skilled Technical Writer to join our team. As a Technical Writer, you will be responsible for creating, reviewing and updating a variety of technical documents including SDRLs, test reports, test plans, Process Specs, Manufacturing Instructions, Test Procedures. This role is a temporary position expected to last 6-9 months.
Responsibilities
Write, edit, and format technical documents according to established guidelines and standards.
Interpret technical data and create clear and concise documentation.
Collaborate with technical experts and project managers to ensure that all documentation is accurate and complete.
Ensure that all documents are written in accordance with company and government standards and guidelines.
Create and maintain document templates, style guides, and document control procedures.
Work with subject matter experts to develop technical content that is accurate, consistent, and compliant with industry standards and regulations.
Maintain accurate records and documentation of all work performed.
Requirements
Bachelor's degree in Technical Writing, English, Journalism, or related field.
Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in technical writing, preferably in a regulated industry such as aerospace and defense.
Excellent writing, editing, and proofreading skills, with a keen eye for detail.
Strong organizational and project management skills.
Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
Proficiency in MS Office and Adobe Acrobat.
Familiarity with document control procedures and tools.
Understanding of government regulations and standards related to technical writing.
We are looking for a highly motivated and detail-oriented individual who can work independently and as part of a team.
Compensation Hourly Range: $35.00 - $45.00 per hour. Compensation is determined by the applicant's education, experience, knowledge, skills, abilities, internal equity, and alignment with market data.
