Our client, a well-established public accounting firm with over 40 years in business, is seeking an experienced Tax Manager to join their team on a hybrid schedule with a clear path to partnership.

Base pay range $100,000.00/yr - $180,000.00/yr

Key Responsibilities

Prepare and review complex tax returns including corporations, partnerships, S‑corps, trusts, and high‑net‑worth individuals.

Manage multiple client engagements simultaneously and ensure timely, accurate deliverables.

Oversee and mentor staff and senior associates; provide training, guidance, and feedback.

Conduct tax research and planning for clients on complex issues and tax‑saving strategies.

Maintain strong client relationships; serve as a trusted advisor on tax matters.

Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local tax regulations and firm quality standards.

Participate in business development and firm initiatives as part of the partnership track.

Qualifications

Active CPA license (required).

5+ years public accounting tax experience.

Strong technical knowledge across multiple entity types (1040, 1120/1120S, 1065, 1041).

Experience with tax software (CCH Axcess, UltraTax, Lacerte, or similar).

Proven ability to review staff work and manage client portfolios independently.

Strong communication, leadership, and client‑service skills.

Compensation & Benefits
