Responsibilities
Conduct tax interviews with clients face‑to‑face or via virtual tools (video, phone, chat, email).
Prepare complete and accurate tax returns.
Generate business growth, increase client retention, and offer additional products and services.
Provide IRS support to clients.
Support office priorities through teamwork and collaboration.
Grow your own tax expertise.
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in accounting or a related field.
Previous customer service or retail experience.
Experience in a fast‑paced, supportive environment.
Ability to work a minimum of 25‑35 hours weekly during tax season and up to 40 hours during peak weeks.
Successful completion of the H&R Block Tax Knowledge Assessment or Income Tax Course.
Comfort with virtual tools—video, phone, and chat.
Effective communication skills in person, through phone, and in writing.
Meet all IRS and applicable state requirements.
High school diploma or equivalent, at minimum.
