What The Day Will Look Like
Work across Aon's Risk Capital, reinsurance, and captives’ teams to structure customized solutions for logistics and transportation clients.
Drive innovative broking strategies that integrate alternative risk transfer mechanisms.
Explore opportunities for differentiation through data & analytics, risk modeling, and financial engineering solutions.
Client & Market Strategy
Develop and implement strategic broking plans to support key marine clients with customized risk transfer solutions.
Enhance high-value client partnerships with innovative brokerage and risk advisory services.
Leverage deep market relationships in the U.S. and London to negotiate efficient terms, coverage, and pricing.
Business Development & Revenue Growth
Drive new business production and cross-sell opportunities within Aon’s transportation and logistics and corporate ecosystem.
Eligible for additional compensation tied to revenue generation and new business wins.
Collaborate with producers and account executives to identify and capitalize on growth opportunities.
Leadership & Collaboration
Collaborate with the U.S. Head of Logistics to implement Aon’s marine and transportation strategy.
Lead initiatives that align broking, risk capital, and consulting to improve client value.
Collaborate with claims, risk engineering, and analytics teams to develop comprehensive client solutions.

Required Experience & Skills
10+ years in marine, logistics, or transportation brokerage with experience in complex placements.
Proven success in structuring enterprise-level insurance programs for large-scale clients.
Experience working with captives, reinsurance, and alternative risk transfer mechanisms is a plus.
Deep technical knowledge of marine, cargo, ports, and transportation insurance markets.
Strategic negotiation expertise with U.S. and London market underwriters.
Strong analytical and financial structuring capabilities to develop bespoke risk solutions.
Ability to navigate complex corporate structures and deliver enterprise-level client solutions.
Comfortable working in a matrixed leadership environment.
Education & Certifications
Bachelor’s degree in business, finance, risk management, or equivalent industry experience.
Professional designations (e.g., CPCU, ARM, or similar certifications) preferred.

Pay Transparency The salary range for this position (intended for U.S. applicants) is $190,000 - $225,000 annually. This position is eligible to participate in Aon’s annual incentive plans for an annual discretionary bonus in addition to base salary.
