Athletics Ticket Manager – Responsibilities The Athletics Ticket Manager is responsible for ticket operations and sales (planning, compliance, security, customer service) and other cash handling duties, including ticket sales, accounting, reconciliation and reporting, and oversight of the Assistant Ticket Manager. The Ticket Manager also manages staffing of event workers at athletic contests and assures timely and accurate bank deposits and cash controls tied to University ledgers in Workday.

Education & Experience

Bachelor’s degree with 2‑4 years of related experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience.

Three years’ experience in a collegiate athletics ticket office (two years of Brown accounting/financial experience, other collegiate athletics administrative experience, or other cash management experience can be substituted).

Job Competencies

Knowledge of both MAC and PC operating systems.

Excellent communication and customer service skills.

Prior experience with an online ticketing system, preferably AudienceView.

Knowledge of Microsoft Office and Google Suite and willingness to learn new systems as required.

Strong financial accounting ability.

Demonstrated ability to independently manage competing priorities.

Ability to meet deadlines in a fast‑paced, multi‑faceted work environment.

Flexibility to change and handle interruptions.

Ability to organize and prioritize workload in a multi‑tasking environment while maintaining careful attention to detail.

Additional Requirements All division employees are required to demonstrate exemplary ethical conduct and conformance to NCAA rules and regulations; the duties of the position are to be performed in compliance with all NCAA and Ivy League rules and regulations. Any rule violations or knowledge of violations within the division must be reported to the compliance office and appropriate parties. Employees in coaching positions must receive annual rules education on NCAA legislation related to recruiting by the compliance office and maintain current AED/CPR and First Aid certification (certification is available at no cost through the Division).

The successful candidate will be required to complete a criminal background, education, DMV and credit check satisfactory to Brown University prior to commencing employment.
