The

Catering Manager

oversees and coordinates all aspects of catering operations at Chama Mama, ensuring each event reflects our commitment to excellence, authenticity, and guest satisfaction. This role requires a strong balance of organization, creativity, and leadership to deliver seamless events while driving profitability and growth. General Duties & Responsibilities

Manage all catering orders and logistics, including delivery, setup, service, and breakdown at event locations. Lead, train, and supervise on‑site catering teams, ensuring professionalism and adherence to company standards. Coordinate with suppliers and vendors for rentals, décor, and event‑specific needs. Oversee inventory management for catering materials, packaging, and service equipment. Maintain catering vehicles and ensure all equipment is clean, functional, and ready for use. Develop and manage event budgets, ensuring cost control and profitability. Implement systems for tracking catering performance, sales, and operational efficiency. Collaborate with marketing and leadership teams to develop and execute catering sales strategies. Build and nurture long‑term client relationships, fostering repeat business and referrals. Represent Chama Mama at external events and corporate functions with a professional, guest‑first attitude. Partner with the Commissary and Kitchen teams to ensure timely preparation, packaging, and delivery of catering items. Guarantee all catering operations meet DOH, health, and safety regulations. Evaluate client feedback and catering trends to enhance service offerings and identify growth opportunities. Qualifications

Minimum 3‑5 years of experience in catering management, event operations, or hospitality leadership. Proven record of managing large‑scale events and multiple clients simultaneously. Strong organizational and multitasking skills with sharp attention to detail. Excellent communication and client service abilities. Proficiency in budgeting, cost analysis, and operational planning. Knowledge of food safety and DOH compliance. Ability to lead teams effectively and foster a positive, professional work environment.
