Credence has an immediate need for an Electrical Engineer at the journeyman level to support the mission of the Global Hawk (AFLCMC/WIAG) and U‑2 (AFLCMC/WIA) Division. The Global Hawk and U‑2 Division provides high altitude long endurance (HALE), all‑weather, day/night, wide area reconnaissance and surveillance remotely piloted aircraft (RPA) systems, located at both Wright Patterson AFB, OH and Robins AFB, GA. The Sustainment Branch (AFLCMC/WIAGA) provides sustainment support to the operational Global Hawk fleet, including aircraft, payloads, and ground assets at Robins AFB, GA. The International & New Business Branch (AFLCMC/WIAPC) delivers exportable HALE RPA capabilities to international U.S. partners at Wright Patterson AFB, OH.

The Electrical Engineer will provide electrical engineering support for programs and projects, covering all system engineering research, design, development, installation, testing, and operation aspects of the systems under the responsibility of the IPT. The engineer will apply practical engineering knowledge of a wide range of established system engineering principles, with an emphasis on electrical engineering, and ensure Operational Safety, Suitability, and Effectiveness (OSS&E) is incorporated in all activities.

Responsibilities

Provide system engineering review and analysis of assigned systems throughout conceptual, demonstration, validation, engineering, manufacturing development, production, and support phases.

Develop and/or originate new features and improve, extend, or validate existing systems.

Translate DoD user requirements into system requirements for design, development, fabrication, testing, and evaluation.

Review overall system design baseline (architecture and interoperability) requirements.

Assist in developing system specifications and architecture products.

Perform independent analysis of engineering changes and specifications, recommending acceptance to government.

Support life‑cycle cost evaluations of proposed systems and components.

Assist in test and evaluation support, including test planning, conduct, and evaluation against operational requirements; participate in Integrated Test Teams (ITTs) and Test Readiness Reviews (TRRs).

Schedule and secure required test resources to support project and program objectives.

Monitor, assess status, and report on Test and Evaluation (T&E) efforts.

Assist in designing, planning, executing, analyzing, reporting, and documenting test and evaluation programs.

Support development of technical plans, review technical documents, track risk and issue resolution, review test plans and procedures, and support special studies to define alternative approaches.

Education, Requirements and Qualifications

Active TS/SCI required.

Bachelor’s or master’s degree in Electrical Engineering from an ABET‑accredited university and at least three (3) years of experience in the relevant technical discipline, with at least three (3) years in DoD or other U.S. Government ISR/SOF organizations.

OR, seven (7) years of directly related experience with proper certifications as described in the PWS labor category performance requirements, with five (5) years in DoD or other U.S. Government ISR/SOF organizations.

Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Job requirements

Willingness to travel if required.

Stationary position 50% of the time.

Able to ascend/descend stairs as required.

Able to move equipment not to exceed 25 lbs. as needed.
