Sales Representative
Job Description We are seeking a Sales Representative to join our team driving revenue in a fast‑paced, team‑oriented environment.
Responsibilities
Assist customers in the store/yard & over the phone
Present products & describe features, benefits & specifications
Provide support & make recommendations applicable to customers' needs
Resolve customer inquiries, issues, or concerns
Set follow‑up appointments & keep customers aware of latest developments of orders
Assist customers with loading merchandise
Coordinate with Dispatch, Purchasing, A/R, etc. throughout the sales process
Enter transactions into Point‑of‑Sales software including quotes, orders, special orders & invoices
Develop current sales with existing customers & generate new business with potential customers
Assist with inventory maintenance
Other related duties and/or projects may be assigned on a temporary or permanent basis
Skills
Customer service
Relationship development & management
Ability to prioritize & multi‑task
Ability to work individually & as part of a team
Organized & self‑motivated
Basic computer knowledge
Ability to do basic math, read instructions & complete forms
Knowledge of building materials encouraged
Spanish speaking a plus
Qualifications
18 years or older
Physical ability to move large, bulky, and/or heavy merchandise (up to 80 lbs.)
Perform tasks that may require prolonged standing, sitting, exposure to elements
Available for 45‑hour work week
