We are seeking a Sales Representative to join our team driving revenue in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment. Job Purpose:
Sales of Lumber, Building Materials & Millwork to walk-in, phone & online customers
Responsibilities:
Assist customers in the store/yard & over the phone
Present products & Describe features, benefits & specifications
Provide support & make recommendations applicable to customers' needs
Resolve customer inquiries, issues, or concerns
Set follow-up appointments & keep customers aware of latest developments of orders
Assist customers with loading merchandise
Coordinate with Dispatch, Purchasing, A/R, etc. throughout the sales process
Enter transactions into Point-of-Sales software including quotes, orders, special orders & invoices
Develop current sales with existing customers & generate new business with potential customers
Assist with inventory maintenance
Other related duties and/or projects may be assigned on a temporary or permanent basis
Skills:
Customer service
Relationship development & management
Ability to prioritize & multi-task
Ability to work individually & as part of a team
Organized & Self-motivated
Basic computer knowledge
Ability to do basic math, Read instructions & Complete forms
Knowledge of building materials encouraged
Spanish-Speaking a Plus!
Qualifications:
18 years or older
Physical Ability to Move Large, Bulky and/or Heavy Merchandise (Up to 80 lbs.)
Perform Tasks that May Require Prolonged Standing, Sitting, Exposure to Elements
Available for 45 Hour Work Week
