Commercial Banking Relationship Manager - Middle Market
The Relationship Manager will be responsible for sourcing, structuring, and managing large middle market elationships. This role focuses on clients based in Southern California.
Base pay range $125,000.00/yr - $180,000.00/yr
Key Responsibilities
Originate and manage complex C&I middle market lending relationships ($20MM–$250MM in annual revenues)
Structure and underwrite credit facilities (term loans, revolvers, capex lines, etc.)
Lead credit approval process; coordinate with credit and portfolio teams
Monitor and manage loan portfolio for credit quality, compliance, and performance
Drive deposit growth and cross-sell treasury, FX, and other bank products
Maintain regular client calling activity to ensure relationship development and retention
Identify new business opportunities through centers of influence, existing clients, and market presence
Collaborate with internal teams including credit, compliance, product partners, and executive management
Requirements
7+ years of commercial banking experience with a focus on middle market C&I clients
Strong credit skills; formal credit training required
Demonstrated success in both lending and deposit gathering
In-depth knowledge of the Southern California middle market landscape
Strong deal execution and relationship management capabilities
Proven ability to manage a portfolio of complex credit relationships
