Senior Legal Recruiter | Certified Farmers Market Manager. Job Title: Construction Litigation Associate. Our client is seeking a construction litigator who handles disputes related to construction projects for contractors, subcontractors, developers, and other stakeholders. Responsibilities include handling disputes over contracts, design defects, construction defects, and defending builder's liens and debt collections. What You Will Be Doing
Conducting legal research and analyzing case law to develop effective strategies for resolving construction disputes Drafting legal briefs, pleadings, and other documentation related to litigation Representing clients in court and negotiating settlements with opposing parties Managing a caseload of construction-related litigation matters Collaborating with teams of attorneys, paralegals, and support staff to analyze evidence and prepare for trial Maintaining accurate and complete case files and legal databases Participating in alternative dispute resolution processes, such as arbitration or mediation, to resolve construction disputes outside of the courtroom Advising clients on legal issues related to construction projects, such as zoning and land use regulations, building codes, and insurance coverage Mediating and defending builder's liens and debt collections What You Bring To The Role
Must have a Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school License to practice law in Tennessee and be in good standing Strong analytical, research, and writing skills, as well as excellent communication and negotiation skills Why You Want To Work For Our Client
