Based in

Chicago, IL , this role focuses on expanding the company’s regional footprint through new business generation and strategic account development. You’ll work with shippers across diverse industries to deliver customized international freight and logistics solutions, while partnering closely with internal operations and pricing teams to ensure exceptional execution. This position is ideal for a self-driven sales professional with strong freight industry experience, a competitive mindset, and a passion for building long-term client partnerships. Key Responsibilities

Drive revenue growth through new business acquisition and development of existing accounts. Build and maintain a robust pipeline across air, ocean, and brokerage services. Conduct regular client meetings, business reviews, and on-site visits within the Midwest region. Collaborate with pricing, operations, and leadership teams to deliver tailored proposals. Manage onboarding processes, ensuring smooth customer transition and SOP alignment. Represent the company at

Chicago-based trade shows , industry events, and client networking functions. Accurately manage CRM activity, pipeline forecasts, and reporting deliverables. Contribute to regional sales strategies and performance planning. Candidate Profile

Proven sales background within

international freight forwarding, NVOCC, or 3PL logistics . Strong understanding of

customs brokerage and multimodal transportation solutions . Established network of importer/exporter contacts within the

Midwest region . Track record of achieving and exceeding revenue targets. Excellent communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills. Highly organized, independent, and driven to succeed in a competitive sales environment. Competitive base salary ($110K–$140K) + uncapped commissions + discretionary bonus.
