We are seeking a highly skilled Cloud Infrastructure Engineer to design, build, and maintain scalable, secure, and resilient infrastructure within our AWS cloud environment. You will play a critical role in ensuring our applications and services run reliably and efficiently, while implementing best practices in cloud architecture, automation, and security.
Key Responsibilities
Design, implement, and maintain AWS cloud infrastructure that supports production, staging, and development environments.
Manage and optimize core AWS services (EC2, S3, RDS, VPC, IAM, CloudWatch, ECS/EKS, Lambda, etc.).
Build infrastructure as code (IaC) using Terraform/CloudFormation/CDK to ensure repeatability and scalability.
Implement monitoring, logging, and alerting solutions to ensure system reliability and availability.
Drive automation of provisioning, deployments, scaling, and failover processes.
Collaborate with development teams to design cloud-native applications and CI/CD pipelines.
Ensure compliance with security best practices, identity and access management, and data protection standards.
Monitor system performance, troubleshoot issues, and optimize cost efficiency across AWS resources.
Contribute to disaster recovery and business continuity planning.
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or equivalent experience.
3+ years of hands‑on experience managing AWS cloud environments.
Proficiency with Terraform, CloudFormation, or other IaC frameworks.
Strong knowledge of Linux systems administration and networking (VPCs, subnets, routing, security groups).
Experience with CI/CD pipelines (GitHub Actions, GitLab CI, Jenkins, or similar).
Familiarity with containers and orchestration (Docker, ECS, EKS, or Kubernetes).
Strong understanding of cloud security best practices (IAM policies, encryption, compliance standards).
Proficiency in at least one scripting language (Python, Bash, PowerShell).
Experience with monitoring tools (CloudWatch, Prometheus, Grafana, Datadog, etc.).
Nice to Have
AWS Certified Solutions Architect, DevOps Engineer, or SysOps Administrator.
Experience with multi‑cloud or hybrid cloud environments.
Familiarity with databases (PostgreSQL, MySQL, DynamoDB, Cassandra) and message queues (SQS, Kafka, RabbitMQ).
Background in incident response, SRE, or DevSecOps practices.
