As the Manager, Financial Reporting, you will oversee the preparation of consolidated financial statements and ensure compliance with U.S. GAAP, company policies, and regulatory requirements. You will manage the financial reporting process, coordinate external audit activities, and provide technical accounting guidance on complex areas such as revenue recognition, leases, and business combinations. Your role will also focus on strengthening internal controls, driving process improvements, and mentoring staff, making you a key leader within the Accounting team.

Responsibilities

Manage the preparation and review of consolidated U.S. GAAP financial statements for internal and external stakeholders.

Provide technical accounting guidance on complex topics including ASC 606 (Revenue Recognition), ASC 842 (Leases), and accounting for business combinations, goodwill, and intangible assets.

Coordinate external audit activities and serve as the primary contact for auditors, ensuring timely and accurate delivery of requests.

Research, interpret, and implement new accounting standards, providing technical guidance across the organization.

Oversee aspects of the monthly close process, including review of journal entries, reconciliations, and internal financial reporting.

Develop and maintain strong internal controls over financial reporting in alignment with company policies and regulatory requirements.

Partner with cross-functional teams to provide accounting expertise on business initiatives and projects.

Mentor and guide staff to support professional growth and high performance.

Identify and implement process improvements to increase efficiency, accuracy, and scalability within financial reporting.

Perform additional duties as assigned.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Accounting.

Certified Public Accountant (CPA).

Minimum of 5 years of progressive accounting or financial reporting experience, including public accounting and/or corporate accounting.

Strong technical accounting knowledge, with experience applying U.S. GAAP including ASC 606, ASC 842, and accounting for business combinations, goodwill, and intangible assets.

Proven experience preparing GAAP financial statements and supporting external audits.

Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills.

Strong communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to work effectively across functions and with external parties.

Additional Qualifications

Experience in telecommunications, technology, or related industries.

Familiarity with large-scale ERP systems and financial reporting tools.

Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and financial analysis software.

Exposure to process improvement, automation, or technology initiatives within accounting and reporting.
