The Team We’re seeking a Global Events Manager to join our Revenue Marketing team and deliver world‑class events that fuel the pipeline, strengthen partnerships, and enhance brand visibility. This is an exciting, highly visible opportunity for an organized, creative professional with 2–4 years of experience in event management, preferably within IT services or technology, who will own and develop a busy events program.
What You’ll Do
Plan, manage, and execute strategic global and regional events—including analyst summits, customer conferences, partner programs, and executive briefings—that align to Hitachi Digital Services’ growth and revenue goals.
Collaborate closely with the Revenue Marketing team to ensure events integrate with campaigns, account‑based marketing, and lead‑generation initiatives.
Own event logistics end‑to‑end: venue sourcing, vendor and budget management, registration, travel coordination, audiovisual, and on‑site execution.
Develop event content and experiences that communicate our value proposition and differentiate Hitachi in key markets.
Partner with senior executives, industry analysts, and sales teams to deliver cohesive, high‑impact messaging and engagement.
Track and report performance metrics including leads generated, pipeline influenced, attendee engagement, and ROI.
Drive post‑event follow‑up in coordination with marketing operations and sales enablement to convert engagement into measurable outcomes.
Continuously improve event strategy by incorporating attendee feedback, new technologies, and creative best practices.
Partner with events support exec to work closely on ensuring optimum support and delivery of all event projects.
What You Bring
2–4 years of event management experience, preferably in IT services, consulting, or B2B technology.
Strong organizational and project‑management skills with the ability to manage multiple programs across time zones.
Excellent communication, stakeholder management, and vendor negotiation abilities.
Experience supporting demand‑generation or revenue‑focused marketing programs.
Familiarity with event or marketing tools such as Cvent, Asana, HubSpot, or Salesforce.
Bachelor’s degree in marketing, Communications, or a related field preferred.
