Planning & Reporting: Prepare and submit annual business plans, along with detailed monthly business/sales reports and accurate forecasts.

Time Management: Utilize effective time and territory management practices, including planned customer visit schedules and the immediate submission of trip reports and action requests.

Representative Management: Recommend, justify, and, if required, train and manage local sales representatives to maximize market coverage.

Technical & Commercial Execution

Needs Assessment: Recognize and investigate customer operational and maintenance needs, expertly relating them to the Company’s extensive service and technical capabilities.

Proposal Development: Produce high-quality, winning proposals that address the customer’s project requirements, ensuring alignment with planned commercial margins.

Contract Finalization: Facilitate the finalization of contractual terms and conditions to secure service agreements.

Market Presence: Participate actively in industry events, trade fairs, road shows, and conduct professional sales presentations to key prospects.

Customer Advocacy: Monitor the Company’s performance in executing completed assignments and provide crucial feedback on customer satisfaction levels to internal teams.

Market Intelligence & Standards

Knowledge Transfer: Maintain deep knowledge of the market landscape, including the activities of competitors and changes in the marketplace, and keep the Regional Sales Manager well informed on strategic issues.

Technical Updates: Keep customers and colleagues well informed regarding new technology developments from the Company’s Research and Development (R&D) departments.

Compliance: Maintain accurate records and adhere to the highest corporate standards in all dealings with both customers and internal colleagues.

Qualifications and Requirements Education & Experience

Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Technology, or a related field is highly preferred.

Several years of proven experience in service sales or account management within the turbomachinery, power generation, or petrochemical industries.

Demonstrated technical proficiency with rotating equipment, including steam turbines, centrifugal compressors, and pumps (cryogenic or custom).

Proven track record of achieving and exceeding sales quotas, specifically for MRO services and spare parts.

Language: Native-level fluency in Italian and professional working proficiency in English (verbal and written) is mandatory.

Commercial Acumen: Strong understanding of contract finalization, commercial terms, and margin management.

Communication: Exceptional presentation and negotiation skills with the ability to build first-class, long-term relationships with technical and procurement decision-makers.
