What Youll Do
The Senior Engineering Technician will be responsible for inspection, cleaning, servicing, lubricating and repair of locks and hardware. This includes inspecting, testing, and servicing a variety of operational areas such as safety, building automation, fire alarm, access control, low voltage equipment, service and maintenance of automatic and ADA doors, roofing, building structures, flooring, electrical, and locksmith functions. The technician will assist the Construction Service Manager on renovations, remodels, and new construction projects. Day?to?Day Responsibilities
Corrective Maintenance work orders as assigned by the facility work request system (AiMs) on buildings, plumbing systems, equipment, carpentry, masonry, locks, lock hardware, pumps, piping, building automation systems, welding, and any other work assigned. Utilize the AiMs facility work request procedure system to identify and enter corrective maintenance issues, develop preventative maintenance procedures, complete preventative and corrective maintenance work orders, document material usage and man hours expended, and perform building and asset inspections, entering results into the AiMs asset management platform. Maintain and repair vehicles including tractors, forklifts, boom lifts, loaders, large trucks, and motorized carts. Maintain and repair all small equipment used in the maintenance and locksmith area, and train maintenance and custodial personnel on the proper use of assigned equipment. Review construction plans to ensure compliance with the existing system and for any future upgrades to the system.
Who Were Looking For
Graduation from an accredited high school or possession of an equivalency diploma. Four (4) years of experience in the locksmith trade, as well as four (4) years of experience in electrical and electronic systems. Experience with C?Cure systems and maintaining ADA?compliant doors. Must possess a current, valid drivers license.
