R-91681**Waste Connections is Hiring a Automated Side Load in Miami FL!****PAY:** $23-$25/hr DOE, working 50-55 hours a week. A typical schedule is **Monday – Friday**, with occasional Saturdays as needed. The workweek is approximately 50-55 hours.**DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:*** Safely operate a **Automated Side Load garbage truck** on specified routes to collect commercial solid waste.* Ensure accurate and timely collection and disposal of waste by operating hydraulic systems to empty containers.* Interact courteously with customers while performing the job.* Perform daily pre-trip and post-trip inspections on the vehicle to ensure it is in proper working order.* Ensure safety protocols are followed during collection and disposal.* Perform a physically demanding job, including loading and unloading waste from front-load containers.* Maintain cleanliness of the truck and work area.* Follow route sheets and service each customer assigned by the dispatcher.**WORKING CONDITIONS AND PHYSICAL EFFORT:*** Extensive physical activity, including heavy lifting, pushing, or pulling objects over 50 pounds.* Work environment may involve some exposure to physical risks, including moving mechanical parts, requiring basic safety precautions.* Exposure to outdoor weather conditions, including wet/humid conditions, as well as fumes and vibration.
