Base Pay Range:
$170,000 – $220,000 per year (DOE)
A top-tier national labor and employment law firm is seeking a Mid-Level Labor & Employment Litigation Attorney to join its growing Denver office. The role is ideal for an attorney who wants to take ownership of meaningful cases, collaborate with respected partners, and represent employers in complex workplace matters with strategy and confidence. You’ll handle litigation from start to finish drafting pleadings, managing discovery, taking depositions, arguing motions, and participating in mediations while advising clients on compliance, policy development, and day‑to‑day employment law challenges. You should be a proactive litigator with sharp instincts, strong writing skills, and a genuine interest in labor and employment law. Thrive in a collaborative, resource‑rich environment and value autonomy in your work.
Responsibilities
Manage employment litigation cases from inception through resolution.
Draft and respond to pleadings, motions, and discovery requests.
Take and defend depositions and participate in mediations and hearings.
Collaborate with partners on case strategy and client communications.
Advise clients on compliance with federal and state employment laws.
Draft and revise employee handbooks, policies, and training materials.
Participate in client education programs and contribute to firm‑wide initiatives.
Maintain approximately 2,000 billable hours annually.
Qualifications
3+ years of employment litigation experience.
Licensed and in good standing with the Colorado Bar.
Strong academic credentials and exceptional writing, analytical, and oral advocacy skills.
Proven experience handling pleadings, discovery, depositions, and motions practice.
Ability to manage multiple matters in a fast‑paced environment.
Self‑starter who’s proactive, resourceful, and comfortable working independently and collaboratively.
Prior experience at a labor & employment or litigation‑focused firm preferred.
