Job Title Senior Business Consultant
Responsibilities
Work closely with clients to develop their digital strategies, define criteria for success, assess current processes and project performance, create business‑value justification for initiatives, and prepare to implement solutions that produce meaningful business results.
Collaborate with Autodesk’s largest customers to define approaches to the application of BIM and emerging technologies for their Building Mechanical, Electrical and Plumbing (MEP) projects.
Partner with Autodesk account teams to define a Customer Success Plan and use consulting services to implement those strategies and solutions.
Build and maintain high‑value client relationships by solving their business challenges.
Work with the Autodesk Technical Advisory Project Management team to ensure delivery against the Customer Success Plan.
Shape the Autodesk Technical Advisory service offering for MEP and determine how it is delivered.
Collaborate with specialists both within Autodesk and externally to support and evolve the product offering.
Act as a trusted partner to customers and internal Autodesk teams.
Guide customers through transformational change applying change‑management methodologies.
Lead facilitated workshops to identify solution opportunities and communicate solution paths.
Lead or help create high‑quality design, engineering, and operational management for customers.
Define and track the value of solutions delivered, documenting impact on customer investment in Autodesk Consulting.
Participate in developing new and expanded consulting delivery offerings.
Build the Autodesk Consulting brand by demonstrating industry expertise, presenting at events, and publishing articles or position papers.
Lead project delivery efforts, ensuring team quality.
Advise on project estimation and engage in business‑development activities.
This is a remote role.
Minimum Qualifications
Bachelor of Science or Bachelor of Engineering in Architecture, Construction, Engineering, or related degree.
5+ years of hands‑on experience in Buildings – MEP industry, with focus on development, management, and delivery of digital design, engineering, and management solutions across a business enterprise; proficiency with Autodesk products (Revit, Autodesk Construction Cloud) preferred.
3+ years of experience on business‑improvement initiatives leveraging digital solutions.
Demonstrated excellence in strategic thinking, innovation, program management, change management, business‑process optimization, and communications.
Proven facilitation of customer workshops using various techniques.
Initiative and ability to drive decisions and resolve issues.
Experience working with diverse technical, sales, and project‑management teams.
Excellent written and oral communication skills, including workshop facilitation, meeting facilitation, and effective presentations to teams and customers.
Ability to translate complex topics into accessible language for non‑technical/business audiences.
Willingness to travel up to 30% for Autodesk events and customer meetings.
Preferred Qualifications
Strong knowledge of Building MEP design, engineering, construction, and management industry practices, particularly mechanical, electrical, and plumbing.
Experience defining and delivering on business strategy in these areas.
Advanced experience with Autodesk products such as Autodesk Construction Cloud (all modules), Revit, and Autodesk Navisworks.
Experience driving enterprise‑level change.

Salary Transparency Salary is one part of Autodesk’s competitive compensation package. For U.S.-based roles, the starting base salary is between $88,100 and $152,020. Offers are based on the candidate’s experience and geographic location, and may exceed this range.
