Review and coaching of junior accountants
Strong documentation and process standardization abilities
High attention to detail and accuracy
Nice-to-Have Skills
Experience with LeaseQuery (lease accounting)
Experience with Xactly (commissions accounting)
Exposure to debt accounting and other technical areas
Process improvement and automation initiative participation
Key Responsibilities and Duties
Review and validate working papers prepared by junior team members across commissions, payroll, leases, accruals, and allocations
Support month-end and quarter-end close activities ensuring SOX compliance and accuracy
Coach, mentor, and guide junior accountants on best practices and documentation standards
Manage assigned accounting areas end-to-end to ensure completeness and accuracy
Standardize accounting processes and documentation to enhance efficiency and consistency
Collaborate with accounting and finance teams on process improvement and ad hoc projects
Ensure compliance with internal controls and technical accounting standards
Requirements
Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
Active CPA certification required
Minimum 10 years of progressive accounting experience with leadership or review responsibilities
Strong understanding of U.S. GAAP, SOX controls, and internal audit standards
Expert-level proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Blackline, and Netsuite
Experience with LeaseQuery and Xactly preferred
Strong communication, collaboration, and problem-solving skills
