Overview
Delivery Consultant - Cloud Infrastructure Architect, WWPS ProServe at Amazon Web Services (AWS). The role involves working with customers to design, implement, and manage AWS solutions that meet technical requirements and business objectives. You will be a key contributor in driving customer success through the cloud journey, providing technical expertise and best practices throughout the project lifecycle. You will architect complex, scalable, and secure solutions tailored to each customer’s needs and collaborate with stakeholders to gather requirements, assess existing infrastructure, and propose effective migration strategies to AWS. As trusted advisors, you will provide guidance on industry trends, emerging technologies, and innovative solutions while leading the implementation process, ensuring adherence to best practices, optimizing performance, and managing risks.
Responsibilities
Designing and implementing complex, scalable, and secure AWS solutions tailored to customer needs Providing technical guidance and troubleshooting support throughout project delivery Collaborating with stakeholders to gather requirements and propose effective migration strategies Acting as a trusted advisor to customers on industry trends and emerging technologies Sharing knowledge within the organization through mentoring, training, and creating reusable artifacts Qualifications
Bachelor\'s degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or equivalent work experience 3+ years of architecting/operating solutions built on any cloud service provider (e.g., AWS, Azure, GCP, OCI) 3+ years of design/implementation/operations/consulting with distributed applications 3+ years of agile software development methodology experience Current, active US Government Security Clearance of TS/SCI with Polygraph Preferred Qualifications
AWS experience with proficiency in a broad set of AWS services (e.g., EC2, S3, RDS, Lambda, IAM, VPC, CloudFormation) AWS Professional level certifications (e.g., Solutions Architect Professional, DevOps Engineer Professional) preferred Experience with automation and scripting (e.g., Terraform, Python) Knowledge of security and compliance standards (e.g., HIPAA, GDPR) Strong communication skills to explain technical concepts to technical and non-technical audiences 5+ years of experience in infrastructure architecture, database architecture, networking, and technology/software sales consulting Experience architecting, deploying, and operating AWS-based solutions, including migrating or transforming legacy solutions to the cloud and understanding federal government security requirements Location & Work Model
It is expected to work from one of the above locations (or customer sites) at least 1+ days per week. This is not a remote position. You are expected to be in the office or with customers as needed. Company & EEO

The Colorado base pay for this position ranges from $131,300/year up to $177,600/year. The National base pay ranges from $118,200/year in the lowest geographic market up to $204,300/year in the highest geographic market. Pay is based on factors including location, knowledge, skills, and experience. Amazon is a total compensation company. Depending on the position offered, equity, sign-on payments, and other forms of compensation may be provided as part of a total package, in addition to a full range of benefits.
