Responsibilities

Sales Leadership & Profit Growth: Take ownership of store sales by delivering outstanding customer experience, upselling products, and implementing promotions to maximize revenue.

Customer Engagement & Experience: Provide personalized styling advice, recommend add‑ons, and enhance the customer journey.

Expert Piercing Services: Become a trusted piercing specialist through our training program. Provide a safe, fun, and professional experience.

Operational Excellence: Maintain inventory accuracy, handle transactions efficiently, and keep the store well‑merchandised and visually appealing.

Team Support & Sales Coaching: Train and motivate team members to achieve sales goals and deliver top‑notch service.

Trend‑Driven Brand Representation: Showcase Claire's products and services with enthusiasm, staying up to date with the latest fashion trends and translating that knowledge into compelling product recommendations.

About You

Sales‑Driven Mindset: Thrives on meeting and exceeding sales targets.

Retail & Leadership Experience: At least one year of retail management experience preferred.

Confidence in Piercing Services: Willingness to become a trained piercing specialist.

Strong Communication & Selling Skills: Engages customers, builds relationships, and closes sales.

Independent Work Ability: Self‑motivated, organized, and can take charge when needed.

Job Requirements

Ability to conduct piercings with patience and empathy.

Proficiency in operating a POS system.

High school diploma or equivalent; at least one year of overall retail experience.

Physical ability to stand during scheduled shifts and lift 11–35 kg (25–75 lb).

Capability to bend, stoop, reach, and climb ladders or step stools while stocking merchandise.

Passion for allowing customers to express themselves freely.

Strong verbal and written communication skills.

Solid grasp of mathematics for inventory management, sales analysis, and cash handling.

Team player with a positive attitude and willingness to learn.

Enthusiasm for fashion and staying current with trends.

Ability to create curated fashion looks with products during shifts.

Compensation Range:

$12.00 – $14.00 per hour.

Claire’s is committed to adhering to all applicable company policies and federal, state, and local laws and regulations. All positions are compensated at or above the legally mandated minimum wage for the location in which work is performed. The final compensation will be determined by various factors such as relevant work experience, education, certifications, skills, and geographic location.
