Full-time, hybrid Key Responsibilities
Serve as the primary communications lead for Human Resources, supporting strategic internal communications related to patient experience, employee experience, workplace culture, DEI, benefits, performance management, career development, organizational change, and more. Proactively partner with HR and senior leaders to develop and implement integrated communication plans that support key workforce initiatives and align with the organization’s mission and strategic goals. Translate HR strategies into compelling communications that resonate with diverse audiences across the system, ensuring clarity, alignment, and engagement. Develop and deliver communications across a variety of channels and formats, including key messages and talking points; employee newsletters and HR announcements; intranet content and web copy; change management communications; executive letters, memos, and presentations; video scripts, email campaigns, and social media content; crisis and emergency communications related to workforce issues. Ensure consistency of tone, voice, and brand messaging, upholding editorial standards and reinforcing Luminis Health’s culture and values. Measure communication effectiveness through data, feedback, and analytics; apply insights to continuously improve engagement and clarity. Provide strategic communications support during periods of change, such as policy updates, system transformations, restructures, and leadership transitions. Participate in the on‑call rotation for 24/7 media and social media response, as needed. Collaborate with the broader marketing and communications team to ensure cohesive and consistent messaging across platforms. Engage with internal committees and cross‑functional teams to serve as a communications advisor on workforce‑related projects. Manage multiple priorities simultaneously while meeting deadlines and maintaining a high standard of quality and responsiveness. Perform other duties as assigned, including cross‑coverage for other communications functions as needed. Required Qualifications
Proactive and strategic thinker with the ability to anticipate communications needs. Skilled relationship builder and trusted advisor to leaders and cross‑functional partners. Strong writing, editing, and storytelling abilities across a range of formats. Knowledgeable in employee engagement and change communication best practices. Able to manage multiple projects independently with speed, accuracy, and flexibility. Committed to advancing equity, inclusion, and organizational culture. Bachelor’s degree in Public Relations, Communications, Journalism, English, or related field. 8+ years of experience in communications, corporate internal communications, executive communications preferred. Proven experience developing and executing communication strategies that align with organizational objectives. Preferred Qualifications
Experience supporting Human Resources communications or working in HR-related environments. Experience in healthcare, higher education, or other mission‑driven organizations. Familiarity with change management principles and employee engagement best practices. Compensation
Pay Range: $90,000—$110,000 USD Benefits Overview
