RF Systems Engineer (Consumer Wearable Device) – Full‑time on‑site opportunity in San Francisco, CA (no remote).
Early‑stage neurotech/wearable tech startup employing an innovative mix of generative AI with recent breakthroughs (patented) in novel sensing for a state‑of‑the‑art electronic consumer device.
Responsibilities
Lead design and development of the RF system including Tx/Rx chain design.
Design, prototype and validate RF PCBs.
Conduct bring‑up, verification and field testing of advanced RF systems.
Collaborate with cross‑functional teams on product roadmap and integration.
Qualifications
4+ years of industry experience in RF systems engineering.
Proven ability to assemble transmitters and receivers for low‑power systems.
Strong laboratory and field testing experience with advanced RF systems.
Experience with Ultra‑Wideband (UWB) and/or consumer electronics preferred.
Key Technical Skills
Altium, Cadence, Vector Network Analyzer (VNA), spectrum analyzer, Phase‑locked loop (PLL), Voltage‑Controlled Oscillator (VCO), Direct digital synthesis (DDS), signal integrity, antenna design, NFC, Bluetooth, Wi‑Fi, radar systems, superheterodyne, miniaturization, microwave technology (500 MHz–6 GHz).
