About the Role

This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced logistics sales professional to play a key role in expanding business across

FTL, LTL, intermodal, drayage, and warehousing/distribution

services. The Sales Manager will be responsible for developing new customer relationships, nurturing existing accounts, and collaborating with internal pricing and operations teams to provide competitive, tailored logistics solutions.

This role is suited for someone with a strong track record in transportation or 3PL sales who thrives in a performance-driven, entrepreneurial environment.

Key Responsibilities

Generate new business opportunities across inland transportation (FTL, LTL, intermodal, drayage) and warehousing solutions.

Manage and grow existing customer accounts with a focus on profitability and long-term retention.

Meet and exceed assigned revenue and margin goals.

Identify, qualify, and secure opportunities within target customer sectors.

Develop a strong sales pipeline through strategic outreach and networking.

Lead RFP responses, pricing coordination, and solution design.

Monitor competitive activity and market trends to identify growth opportunities.

Serve as a key link between customers and internal operations to ensure seamless service delivery.

Candidate Profile

Minimum of 5 years’ experience in 3PL, transportation, or warehousing sales.

In-depth understanding of U.S. inland logistics, distribution, and cross-border solutions.

Demonstrated success managing RFPs and closing high-value opportunities.

Existing network or customer relationships within the shipper/logistics community.

Strong communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.

Highly self-motivated and organized, with excellent follow-up and pipeline management.

Proficient in Microsoft Office and CRM platforms.

Capable of operating independently while collaborating effectively with a wider team.
