We’re partnering with a fast growing specialty lender in their search for a VP level BDO. The ideal candidate will have a strong network within the ABL business and thrive in an independent, deal‑driven environment. This is a growth hire, offering autonomy, flexibility, and the opportunity to help shape the firm’s ABL platform.
Key Responsibilities
Source and originate ABL transactions across middle market and/or commercial companies.
Develop and maintain deep relationships with an active book of business.
Partner with internal credit and structuring teams to evaluate, structure, and close deals efficiently.
Represent the firm through networking, referrals, and industry events, driving consistent deal flow.
Qualifications
5+ years of experience in ABL origination, preferably from a non‑bank or specialty lender.
Hunter mindset — entrepreneurial, emotionally intelligent, and driven to build lasting client relationships.
