Phoenix Pro Connect is partnering with a boutique financial services firm specializing in factoring, asset-based lending, and trade-finance solutions for small to mid-size businesses. This company provides fast, flexible working-capital solutions and is poised for growth in the South Florida market.

The

Vice President of Business Development

will be instrumental in expanding the firm’s portfolio, developing strategic partnerships, and leading origination initiatives to drive revenue growth. This is a high-impact role with direct access to executive leadership and significant earning potential.

Key Responsibilities

Source, develop, and close new factoring, ABL, and trade-finance transactions with small and mid-market companies.

Build and execute business-development strategies targeting key verticals such as logistics, manufacturing, import/export, and professional services.

Oversee the full sales lifecycle—from prospecting and relationship building to structuring and funding.

Relationship Management

Develop and maintain referral partnerships with banks, brokers, accounting firms, and financial advisors.

Strengthen client retention through relationship management and cross-selling opportunities.

Mentor and guide a small team of business-development managers to meet collective goals.

Work closely with underwriting, credit, and portfolio management to ensure high-quality deal execution.

Represent the organization at industry events and professional associations to expand visibility and network reach.

Reporting & Pipeline Discipline

Maintain CRM accuracy for all pipeline and sales-activity metrics.

Provide regular reports on pipeline health, conversion ratios, and market conditions.

Track ROI from marketing and partnership channels to refine future origination strategy.

Qualifications

8–15 years of experience in

factoring, ABL, commercial, or trade-finance sales .

Proven record of origination success with an established referral or broker network.

Strong financial statement comprehension, credit acumen, and structuring expertise.

Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or Business Administration required.

Bilingual in

Spanish or Portuguese

strongly preferred (Miami market advantage).
