As our eCommerce Director, you’ll own the strategy, performance, and uptime of our online storefront, from merchandising and conversion optimization to backend performance and platform integrity. This is a high‑impact role for a digital leader who understands both front‑end growth and back‑end responsibility, including cybersecurity best practices that protect our customers and brand. Our goal is to create a fast, secure, conversion‑optimized shopping experience that earns customer trust and scales with our growth.
Responsibilities
Oversee the health, performance, and growth of the GrabAGun.com platform, including UX, speed, conversion rate, and reliability.
Coordinate site enhancements, promotions, and A/B testing with developers, marketing, and merchandising teams.
Ensure seamless integration of third‑party tools (reviews, personalization, recommendations, analytics, etc.).
Monitor site uptime, load speed, and mobile responsiveness with a focus on continual optimization.
Collaborate with internal IT and external vendors to maintain a secure and scalable infrastructure.
Support core cybersecurity initiatives: monitoring, threat detection, secure checkout, and data privacy compliance (PCI, CCPA, etc.).
Own the platform roadmap: balancing innovation, conversion, security, and long‑term scalability.
What you bring
5+ years of experience managing or directing eCommerce operations at scale.
Strong grasp of Magento, or custom eComm stacks (PHP/JS/React environments).
Experience with tools like GA4, Google Tag Manager, Jira, etc.
Solid understanding of performance optimization (caching, CDNs, load testing) and uptime management.
Basic working knowledge of web security best practices (SSL, WAF, access control, threat monitoring).
Ability to translate business goals into tech specs and collaborate cross‑functionally with marketers, developers, and execs.
Bonus: Experience in the firearms, sporting goods, or regulated eCommerce space.
