Experience & Skills Requirements
Experience with Exotics and Avian preferred
Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (DVM/VMD) or equivalent degree required
State Veterinary Board License and must be in good standing for the state in which they intend to be hired, prior to their start date
Active DEA license or DEA licensure eligible
About the Hospital At Thrive Pet Healthcare Urgent Care – Torrance, we’re redefining what urgent care looks like for pets and their people. We focus on same‑day, outpatient care for non‑life‑threatening cases—no overnights, no hospitalizations, no on‑call. Our mission is to bridge the gap between general practice and emergency medicine while creating a supportive, collaborative environment for our doctors and staff.

We’re open 8 am – 6 pm, 7 days a week. Nestled in the South Bay, Torrance offers unbeatable weather, proximity to beaches and hiking trails, top‑rated schools, and a lively food and arts scene.
