Responsibilities

Design, build, deploy, and scale complex self-running ML solutions in areas such as computer vision, perception, localization, etc.

Automate and optimize the end-to-end ML model lifecycle using experimental methodologies, statistics, and coding for tool building and analysis.

Collect, cleanse, and interpret data using Microsoft Excel, SharePoint/database data, and Python for analytics.

Leverage AI models (ChatGPT, Claude, Copilot, etc.) to conduct competitive analysis, research industry trends, explore analytical methodologies, and generate data‑driven recommendations.

Develop Python scripts to automate repetitive data‑processing tasks, validate data quality, and accelerate analytical workflows.

Create and prepare executive‑level presentations using Microsoft PowerPoint that translate complex data findings into clear business recommendations.

Use AI assistants to refine narratives, validate assumptions, troubleshoot code, and ensure analytical rigor in final deliverables.

Support New Model Programs Business Plan Review forum with Global and Regional Directors by delivering actionable insights and data‑backed recommendations.

Experience Required

Python data extraction & quality profiling.

Data transformation using clean‑up and normalization (aggregation with pandas).

Data visualization using statistical insights (e.g., statistical data correlations, pivot tables) to capture analytical insights for stakeholders.

Forecasting with scikit‑learn or statsmodels, Excel Solver, and/or introductory exposure to Python OR libraries [PuLP, OR‑Tools].

Minimum of one year of recent automotive/other professional experience.

Proficiency in Python for data analysis and modeling.

Demonstrated ability to use AI tools effectively for research, problem‑solving, and code generation.

Experience Preferred

Launch experience in automotive new model programs.

Familiarity with AI‑powered development tools (VS Code, Jupyter Notebook, GitHub Copilot, etc.).

Experience with using AI models to drive research and deliver solutions.

Knowledge of data processing & visualization libraries (Pandas, NumPy, Plotly, Matplotlib, Seaborn, etc.).

Experience with SQL and database querying.

Knowledge of data visualization tools (Tableau, Power BI, etc.).

Basic statistical and forecasting knowledge, simulation concepts, fundamentals of optimization and scenario analysis.

Education Required Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Data Science, Statistics, Computer Science, or a related field is preferred.
