Summary
Genesis10 is seeking a ServiceNow Lead Developer for a permanent position with a client located in Oshkosh, WI, Hagerstown, MD, or McConnellsburg, PA. This is a hybrid opportunity that requires three days in the office.
Direct hire opportunity with a salary range of $110K – $130K, depending on experience.
Hybrid schedule: three days onsite per week at one of the listed locations.
Travel is minimal, limited to occasional conferences or annual team meetings.
Responsibilities
Lead the design, development, and implementation of ServiceNow solutions tailored to evolving business requirements.
Drive platform enhancements through upgrades, new feature implementations, and adoption of best practices.
Maintain deep technical expertise in ServiceNow modules such as ITAM and ITOM to improve efficiency and service delivery.
Provide ongoing support for day‑to‑day platform operations, including incident management, root cause analysis, and long‑term corrective actions.
Collaborate with stakeholders to analyze needs, define requirements, and translate business goals into actionable technical solutions.
Lead special projects and workstreams that enhance platform capabilities, automation, and ROI.
Partner with ITOM, ITAM, and CMDB teams to enhance discovery, automation, and asset management.
Ensure platform security, compliance, and performance while maintaining architectural and documentation integrity.
Consult with internal teams on API integrations (REST, SOAP, JSON) and cross‑system communication standards.
Promote process optimization, innovation, and digital transformation initiatives aligned with enterprise objectives.
Champion a culture of agility, customer focus, and continuous improvement.
Qualifications
5+ years of ServiceNow development or implementation experience.
Strong technical expertise in web technologies (REST/SOAP APIs, HTML, JavaScript).
Hands‑on ServiceNow development experience, including workflows, catalog items, integrations, and scripting.
Experience with ITSM and ITOM modules.
Familiarity with SDLC and Agile delivery methodologies.
Excellent communication, leadership, and problem‑solving skills.
Ability to collaborate across technical and business functions, demonstrating strategic thinking and stakeholder alignment.
Preferred
ServiceNow Certifications (Certified Application Developer, Implementation Specialist).
Experience with ITIL and Enterprise Service Management frameworks.
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
7+ years managing enterprise IT platforms or integration systems (e.g., Boomi).
Experience leveraging AI/ML automation and self‑service solutions within ServiceNow.
