Description Westward 360 is seeking a strong salesperson with a real estate background who’s ready to join a fast-moving, high-impact company. Your days will be spent meeting with and prospecting owners of rental properties, helping them understand the power of working with a professional property manager like Westward 360. The Business Development Manager (BDM) at Westward 360 is responsible for making great first impressions with potential clients. All new leads and referrals will be introduced to the BDM to qualify them, ensure fit, and communicate the unique capabilities and outcomes that Westward 360 delivers. Over time, the BDM becomes a key figure in some of our most legendary client success stories. This role filters out misfit clients and attracts ideal‑fit clients who become long-term partners.
Compensation $95,000–$120,000+ annually (base+commission)
Employment Type Full-time - Hybrid role based out of Chicago, IL
Responsibilities
Respond to inbound leads quickly and effectively
Nurture inbound leads and convert them into new business
Execute outbound strategy and develop new relationships with key partners and referral sources
Meet with and educate qualified prospects on our residential management services
Qualify and convert prospects into clients for our service
Maintain and close a strong conversion rate across appointments and opportunities
Track and manage a robust pipeline within our CRM with current notes and statuses
Complete necessary documentation to onboard new properties
Build and nurture relationships with referral partners over time
Stay available to respond to client and lead inquiries during off-hours and weekends as needed
Establish and maintain relationships with industry influencers and strategic partners throughout the Chicago area
Continuously improve market knowledge and stay updated on relevant laws and local trends
Close deals to hit monthly/quarterly sales targets
Qualifications
Real estate license preferred
Strong understanding of the Chicago residential real estate and rental market
Demonstrated success in a sales or business development role
Reliable transportation and valid driver's license required
Tech-savvy, especially with CRMs and sales tools
Clear communicator able to lead and influence
