Job Posting: Program Support Unit Analyst

Working Conditions Position located in Sacramento, eligible for a hybrid telework schedule. Employees are required to work in person at 715 P Street, MS 1803, Sacramento, CA 95814. At least three days of remote work and up to two days of in‑office work per week are available. Alternative work locations will not be considered. Candidates residing outside of California must provide proof of residency before appointment.
Responsibilities
Under the direction of the Administrative Support Unit Manager (Staff Services Manager I), oversee and execute a range of administrative support functions.
Review and analyze CalGEM documents and processes.
Conduct public records analysis and independently prepare required documents for executive‑team reports.
Coordinate budget reports and maintain tracking of public comments and requests.
Provide complex analytical and administrative support for Headquarters’ business operations and special projects.
Identify and analyze processes to improve the operating efficiency and effectiveness of the Division.
Demonstrate a high degree of independence, innovative ideas, creativity, and critical thinking.
Minimum Requirements Eligibility: New to California state service must have passed the AGPA examination. Current state employee without transfer eligibility or list eligibility must also pass the examination. Minimum education and experience as specified in the AGPA specification are required.
Associate Governmental Program Analyst – Salary range: $6,031 – $7,547 per month.
