Base pay range : $250,000.00/yr - $300,000.00/yr About the role : Staff Software Engineer - Growth. A fast-growing healthcare technology startup is building the discovery layer of healthcare, making it easier for patients to find the right providers, access the right medications, and take control of their health with transparency and trust. We’ve scaled rapidly by combining operational excellence, clinical expertise, and innovative technology to deliver care that’s more human, intuitive, and effective. From pharmacy pricing transparency to personalized medication management and chronic illness support, we’re creating a new model of care that empowers patients, providers, and pharmacies alike. Location: San Francisco, CA. Type: Full-Time. Work arrangement: Onsite (5 days/week). We’re hiring a
Staff Software Engineer - Growth
to lead engineering efforts across acquisition, activation, retention, and monetization. You’ll work cross-functionally with product, design, and data to build systems that drive growth and shape the company’s trajectory. This is a high-impact, full-stack role ideal for someone who thrives in fast-paced environments, enjoys solving ambiguous challenges, and wants to make a direct impact on the future of digital healthcare. Build and ship features across the stack to improve conversion, engagement, and retention. Maintain and improve server-side event forwarding and clean event schemas. Strengthen identity and attribution systems across web and app. Collaborate with design to build high-performance landing pages and micro-tools. Rapidly test hypotheses through experiments and A/B testing. Who you are
5+ years of experience building production web software with measurable business impact. Full-stack fluency: backend (APIs, auth, cookies, HTTP/CDN) and frontend (Framer, landing pages). Strong instrumentation skills: event design, tag management, server-side forwarding. Solid understanding of SEO fundamentals and structured data. Fluent in SQL and Python. Product-minded: able to turn ambiguous ideas into minimal, testable releases. Familiar with GTM, ad pixels, and Google Analytics. Bonus Points For
Mobile growth experience: deep linking, install attribution, web↔app journeys. Experimentation rigor: designing trustworthy A/B tests. Attribution literacy: experience with multi-touch attribution or MMM. Automation: scripting APIs to enforce taxonomy or streamline data QA. Tech Stack
