Overview The AVP, Lifecycle Marketing is a strategic and innovative leader focused on leveraging advanced analytics and data science to drive personalized marketing campaigns and optimize revenue growth. This role emphasizes the use of data to power cross-sell, upsell, bundling, and increasing wallet share, ensuring exceptional customer experiences across all channels. The ideal candidate will possess strong data analysis and marketing skills, with a proven ability to develop and execute data-driven personalization strategies that align with monetization goals. The role focuses on activation & retention, monetization & anti-churn, and mobile app adoption, utilizing marketing automation, data, and personalization to create impactful customer journeys.

Responsibilities

Omnichannel and Channel Leadership: Command the lifecycle marketing strategy, focusing on customer engagement and retention, and reactivation/anti-churn across B2C/DTC and B2B segments. Develop and oversee comprehensive channel strategies to optimize the customer journey. For B2B, implement Account Based Marketing, sales enablement, and pipeline strategies to enhance B2B engagement and conversion, ensuring alignment between marketing efforts and sales objectives.

Data-Driven Personalization: Utilize data analytics and marketing automation for personalized customer experiences at scale, refining the customer lifecycle for improved engagement, conversion, and loyalty.

Demand Generation & Content Marketing: Create compelling demand generation and content marketing strategies that attract, engage, and convert, driving growth and customer loyalty/advocacy.

Data Analysis & Reporting: Oversee the execution of marketing campaigns across various channels to deepen engagement and retention across client segments and the overall consumer journey. Set up, monitor, and analyze campaign performance metrics, providing regular reports to stakeholders. Use data insights to recommend improvements and optimize future campaigns.

Lifecycle-Focus: Continually analyze the existing customer lifecycle and touch points. Stay updated on industry trends, competitor activities, and customer preferences to identify opportunities for new campaigns and enhancements to drive greater engagement and retention.

Cross-Functional Collaboration: Serve as a growth catalyst by encouraging collaboration across internal teams, ensuring unified goals, strategies, and execution plans, particularly in the development, activation, and enhancement of GTM strategy.

Qualifications

Bachelor's or Master's degree in Business, Data Science, or related discipline.

7+ years of marketing experience with significant focus on lifecycle marketing automation, channel strategy (email, messaging, SMS, Push, etc.), data analytics, personalization, ABM, and demand generation across B2C/DTC and B2B environments.

Technical Proficiency: Experience with CRM, Marketing Automation platforms, Customer Data Platforms (CDP), Analytics, Personalization, and other MarTech tools. Salesforce (Sales, Service & Marketing Cloud) experience is a plus.

Analytical Prowess: Strong ability to turn data insights into actionable marketing strategies that drive engagement, retention, and business outcomes.

Email & Marketing Automation Metrics: Knowledge of marketing automation and email metrics, including deliverability, engagement, and conversion optimization.

Customer Experience Design & Journey Mapping: Experience in designing customer journeys across channels and transactions.

Passion & Drive: High-energy, can-do attitude that inspires teams to achieve marketing excellence.

Stellar Communication: Strong ability to communicate, articulate, and execute complex strategies with alignment across teams and leadership.

Industry Experience: Banking/Finance/FinServ/FinTech background.

Compensation Details:

Target Range: $100,000.00/Yr. – $140,000.00/Yr. Eligible for an Annual Discretionary Cash Bonus Target: 10% and a Discretionary Restricted Stock Units Bonus Target: 10%. These bonuses may be awarded semi-annually based on performance goals.
