Locum | Physician Pediatric Hospitalist Weatherby Healthcare – Fort Wayne, IN. This locum position includes 12‑hour shifts alternating 7 am – 7 pm and 7 pm – 7 am, with an average daily census of 10‑18 patients.

Responsibilities

12‑hour shifts – alternating 7 am – 7 pm and 7 pm – 7 am

Average daily census of 10‑18 patients

Rounding exclusively in pediatric unit

NP support available for most shifts

Straight inpatient coverage – no nursery duties

Manage RSV, flu, COVID, and post‑surgical cases

Required skills include lumbar puncture and non‑invasive ventilation management

Call coverage moving toward 1:4 ratio

Paid malpractice insurance; pre‑paid travel and housing expenses

Assignment details and time entry in online portal
