Responsibilities

12-hour shifts -- alternating 7 am - 7 pm and 7 pm - 7 am

Average daily census of 10 - 18 patients

Rounding exclusively in pediatric unit

NP support available for most shifts

Straight inpatient coverage -- no nursery duties

Manages RSV, flu, COVID, and post-surgical cases

Required skills include lumbar puncture and non-invasive ventilation management

Call coverage moving towards 1:4 ratio

Paid malpractice insurance; pre-paid travel and housing expenses

Assignment details and time entry in online portal
