Job Summary
Langan is seeking a
Site/Civil Engineer
to join its collaborative team in
Inland Empire, CA . This individual will provide planning, design, and permitting of civil engineering, land development, and infrastructure projects. The role offers experience in site/civil engineering design for mixed‑use developments, shopping centers, residential, higher education, federal, and other land development projects within a continuous learning environment.
Job Responsibilities
Assist with the preparation and modification of engineering documents including reports, specifications, plans, construction schedules, cost estimates, and design plans using AutoCAD, Civil 3D, and related software.
Use reports, maps, drawings, and aerial photographs to assess soil composition, terrain, hydrology, and topography, and evaluate their impact on project planning and design.
Demonstrate familiarity with current local, state, and federal land‑use permitting processes.
Collaborate with team members on project tasks and assignments.
Perform other job duties as requested.
Qualifications
Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering.
EIT certification; PE certification preferred.
3+ years of relevant professional experience in site/civil design, including site planning, grading, stormwater management, drainage, and soil erosion.
Proficiency in AutoCAD and Civil 3D.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Strong attention to detail, analytical ability, multitasking, and judgment.
Demonstrated ability to follow direction and work collaboratively in a team environment.
