Mechanical Engineer
at
Proception (YC W25) , you’ll own core mechanical design for our humanoid platform — from concept through production.
Base pay range
$100,000.00/yr – $200,000.00/yr
What You’ll Do:
Design and prototype mechanical systems for humanoid robots (hands, arms, torso, etc.)
Work closely with electrical, software, and manufacturing teams to bring designs to life
Iterate rapidly on design for performance, reliability, and manufacturability
Support pilot builds and transition to mass production
What We’re Looking For:
Strong fundamentals in mechanical design, CAD, and mechatronic systems
Experience with robot design, mass production, or soft goods (wearables, flexible materials, or similar)
Bonus: familiarity with wiring harnesses, embedded electronics, or production engineering
Hands‑on prototyping mindset — you enjoy building and testing your own designs
