Role Overview
We're looking for a Senior Product Manager to own the vision and roadmap for Nava's data platform that powers our web, mobile, and AI products. You'll be responsible for the systems, data, and developer experience that enable every team at Nava to build faster, more reliable, and more powerful products. This is a highly cross‑functional role at the intersection of product, data, engineering, and operations. You'll shape the data infrastructure that supports Nava's most critical integrations, data pipelines, and internal APIs, while empowering engineers to build confidently on top of it. What you’ll do
Own the roadmap
spanning data pipelines, integrations, and internal APIs used by our product teams. Drive integrations
with HRIS, payroll, and insurance carrier systems to ensure consistent, trustworthy data across the platform. Define metrics and SLAs
for platform performance, availability, and developer satisfaction. Collaborate with AI engineers
to ensure the data infrastructure supports AI use cases and feature development. Think creatively about using AI
to retrieve, transform, and clean data, and ship these features. Oversee data ops
– design process and technology improvements with automation for the last‑mile challenges in HRIS and insurance carrier integrations. Create "super fans"
– swarm with stakeholders and feature teams to address data issues, import failures, and bugs as quickly as possible. What you bring
6+ years of product management experience, with 3+ in data and integrations. Experience building or operating modern data pipelines (Airbyte, dbt, Dagster, or similar). Solid grasp of SQL and data modeling. Familiarity with cloud data warehouses and scalable data architectures. Experience setting standards for data quality, validating schema changes, and monitoring for anomalies. Ability to normalize and standardize diverse data sources (APIs, CSVs, S3) and manage reference data. Knowledge of secure data design (PII isolation, row‑level security, SOC 2 compliance). Experience publishing APIs and analytical outputs to downstream systems. Exposure to or curiosity about AI/LLM‑powered data products and developer‑facing data APIs.
