At EY, we transform corporate real estate through innovative strategy, technology, and data. As a Director in our Corporate Real Estate (CRE) practice, you will lead digital workplace and smart building projects across a global client base, shaping transformative solutions that deliver value.

Opportunity EY-Parthenon’s CRE practice leverages AI‑powered technology and deep sector expertise to help CEOs, Boards, private equity firms, and governments tackle complex real‑estate challenges. As part of this practice, you will be instrumental in developing and delivering integrated capital project and digital workplace solutions, collaborating across EY’s global network.

Key Responsibilities

Help clients improve workplace experience by creating collaborative environments through digital workplace and smart building technologies.

Identify, evaluate, and deploy digital workplace and smart building solutions; architect digital frameworks to improve asset utilization, manage costs, and enhance workflows.

Redesign CRE management operations using IoT‑driven digital twin solutions to increase workplace productivity and reduce operational cost of ownership.

Skills and Attributes for Success

Support engagements by diagnosing CRE challenges and recommending EY technology services.

Lead CRE/capital project technology, digital workplace, and smart building engagements from visioning through rollout and ongoing support.

Coach colleagues on functional and technical issues, and build client relationships.

Communicate EY’s expertise on CRE technology trends and market landscape.

Prepare proposals, presentations, and client deliverables.

Analyze complex data sets and deliver actionable insights.

Operate independently while managing multiple tasks across distributed teams.

Mentor and develop junior staff.

Strong written and oral communication, storytelling, and strategic problem‑solving skills.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Engineering, Architecture, Business, Finance, Real Estate, Technology, or related field plus 5 years of relevant experience; or graduate degree plus 3 years.

Experience in technology‑digital workplace or smart buildings for CRE and capital projects.

Demonstrated consulting experience in CRE technology, digital workplace, or smart building engagements.

Business and technical orientation with ability to build business cases and influence engineering teams.

Experience with agile system implementation and program/project management activities.

Excellent writing, presentation, and stakeholder‑management skills.

Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite.

Residency or commutable location to an EY office and willingness to travel as required.

Ideal Experience

Leadership of teams focused on CRE technology, digital workplace, or smart building solutions.

Experience with AI, machine learning, natural language processing, robotics, and speech recognition in real‑estate contexts.

Knowledge of cyber‑security technologies and threat modeling.

Familiarity with Integrated Workplace Management Systems (IWMS) and CRE point solutions, capital project management tools, CCTV and sensor‑based access control, CAD management, building automation, asset tracking, predictive maintenance, digital twin, network infrastructure, IoT solutioning, and firm‑approved AI tools such as Microsoft Copilot.
