CCB is a global line of business at Citigroup that provides commercial banking services to mid‑sized companies. Responsibilities
Data Analytics: Consolidating, analyzing, and presenting data from multiple sources to understand the present status of the loan portfolio with the ability to forecast growth impacts. Data is also used for senior management and regulatory presentation, analysis and submission.
Product Knowledge: Strong understanding of credit risk, experience both sponsoring and loan underwriting decisioning, and ability to communicate and partner across the bank to represent the organization.
Product Leadership: Monitor and forecast the commercial bank’s loan portfolio performance and improve the product’s financial performance by supporting growth initiatives, and improving profitability via loan pledging and hedging programs.
Project Management: Participate in and provide governance/oversight from various project management efforts like Dodd‑Frank 1071, product processor migration, new product approvals and ongoing regulatory implementations.
Risk & Controls: Appropriately assess risk when business decisions are made, demonstrating particular consideration for the firm’s reputation and safeguarding Citigroup, its clients and assets, by driving compliance with applicable laws, rules and regulations, adhering to policy, applying sound ethical judgment regarding personal behavior, conduct and business practices, and escalating, managing and reporting control issues with transparency.
Qualifications
6-10 years of relevant experience
Past leadership responsibility or demonstrated potential to lead
Understanding of a commercial bank’s lending business and loan operations
Advanced Excel knowledge and experience with data software such as Tableau, Power BI, SQL, Python preferred
Strong communications skills and the ability to consistently demonstrate clear and concise written and verbal communication
High level of energy, enthusiasm and motivation
Team player, able to facilitate strong partnerships
Ability to embrace new technology and understand the role digital plays in the experience we deliver for our clients
Positive mindset with “can‑do” attitude, willingness to go extra miles for providing sound advice and effective services to clients
Education
Bachelor’s degree/University degree or equivalent experience
Potentially Masters degree/MBA degree preferred with concentration in economics, business, or financial engineering
