The Consumer Group (CG) is transforming its Product Management function to drive innovation with velocity, customer-centricity, and data-informed strategic bets. Within CG, TurboTax is a >$4.5B business today, yet the opportunity still ahead of us is much larger. Although we deliver a category-leading online DIY tax software for nearly 40M filers, there are still 85M American consumers who spend too much time and money on inefficient and expensive tax prep services.
Responsibilities
This Group Product Manager role will lead the Core PM team responsible for delivering our flagship TurboTax DIY product experiences on stationary and mobile web.
Drive innovation and experiences to ensure critical tax law changes are understandable and actionable for millions of consumers.
Innovate on core customer journeys to improve conversion and drive clarity and confidence for users in tax filing.
Be the voice of high-quality usability excellence across the product.
Set vision and strategy, prioritize opportunities, and articulate a clear execution path for delivering these experiences.
Partner with multiple internal organizations including other PM teams, Engineering, Design, Data Science, Tax, Marketing, Finance, and Customer Success.
Shape the future direction of TurboTax; represent core experiences to leadership and have latitude to shape the roadmap to meet customer and business objectives.
Qualifications
8+ years of product management experience, designing and delivering world-class software products, with a proven track record of driving significant customer and business impact.
Experience building and leading a PM team (2+ years management experience).
Deep customer empathy and a passion for solving complex problems; experience with consumer-facing products at scale is highly desirable.
Strong strategic thinking and ability to craft a vision and translate it into an actionable, outcome-oriented roadmap.
Excellent analytical and data-driven decision-making skills; proficiency in using data to define success, prioritize, and iterate.
Demonstrable technical depth and curiosity; ability to engage effectively in technical discussions with engineering and architecture teams. Experience with AI/ML-driven products is a plus.
Proven ability to lead and influence cross-functional teams in a matrixed environment, fostering collaboration and alignment.
Exceptional communication and presentation skills, capable of inspiring teams and engaging with stakeholders at all levels.
Bias for action and experience delivering results in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
Bachelors degree required; technical degree (Computer Science, Engineering, etc.) or MBA preferred. Equivalent experience will be considered.
Compensation and Employment Details Intuit provides a competitive compensation package with a strong pay-for-performance rewards approach. This position will be eligible for a cash bonus, equity rewards and benefits, in accordance with our applicable plans and programs. Pay offered is based on factors such as job-related knowledge, skills, experience, and work location. To drive ongoing fair pay for employees, Intuit conducts regular comparisons across categories of ethnicity and gender.
The expected base pay range is: Southern California, CA: $214,500 - $290,000.
